Firsts steps with Edalitics

Welcome to Edalitics! Let’s review the principles of Edalitics:

  1. The data is stored in a database. The one you prefer. But in a database (or a json webservice). If you have your data in a CSV you can upload it to your data model. With Edalitics Base and Pro you can create your Edalitics local databases. With Edalitics Free you have to have your own database.
  2. Edalitics works with data models. Which are abstractions about the data that allow us to explain and contextualize them. If you want to know how to create a data model you can watch this video or follow the documentation for a more extensive explanation.
  3. Once you have your data model (At Edalitics free we have created an example “Edalitics” for you). You can make a report. If you want to know how to create a report you can watch this video or follow the documentation for a more extensive explanation.

With these three basic principles you can now create your data models and reports with Edalitics. But it doesn’t all end here. You can also apply security. Or create linked reports with summary and detail. Make public and private reports. Customize the look. Perform advanced queries in SQL mode. Send email alerts and much more.

If you have doubts. You can always ask in the forum.
